I wonder if Showtime is making them go due to the ratings.

Why are people assuming anything is up? It's a high-profile series, Showtime is doing promotion.

I would bet money against DKL attending, but the thought of him at Comic Con is hysterical (especially with his confession in The Art Life that he's somewhat afraid of leaving his house and doesn't like to go out).

I don't think you do Hall H just to promote a one-off niche show. That's a big deal. I'm surprised and it does make me wonder if something is up for future Peaks.

Nah, it's probably just promotion. They did the same thing back in the Summer of 2014 for the blu-ray set. Being in Hall H is obviously a much bigger deal but it makes sense, they're promoting their most prestigious series at the moment.

If there are plans for more TP in the future, I'd guess they'll announce it after this series is over.
This is - excuse me - a damn fine cup of coffee.

Yes, but that was upcoming content. This is already in full swing and is supposedly short-term.

It just surprises me a little they'd splash out like this on a show that is making all its money on streaming and subscriptions, is clearly pure arthouse and is allegedly still a one-off. You're right that they'd still want to promote it, but it's kind of become baked in as not being for everyone as is - it's divided audiences already. I just feel like this kind of massive appearance has to herald something more than showing the flag.

Sounds great! It'll be interesting to hear some insight from those cast members. We should be careful about potential spoilers from the screening, though.

It's probably just mid-stream promotion. MacLachlan was on "Live with Kelly and Ryan" yesterday.
I DON'T FEEL GOOD!!!!!
