And lol, Gersten. The full blossom of the evening, indeed.
Which points to the different last name on the envelope being a screw-up. You don't need that letter to go through AND have her survive...
Not to mention that one of the Mitchum brothers mentioned a different dollar amount that Dougie had screwed them out of (472K vs 447K, if I recall correctly from the previous episode). Another inconsistency that I really wish they had someone on set to catch... Doesn't matter at all to the overall narrative, but once these things start popping up in every episode, it's a little strange.
Good episode, but there is still SO MUCH ground to cover in these last 7 hours!

I thought that boy was trying to tell Bobby something. Are the parents being honest about how the gun went off? Or is there something else abuse-related to add to the story?

472 vs. 447? These are mafia guys, the interest is accruing...

Yeah, I don't think anybody else saw it, though Albert seemed to have some idea of what was going on. There was a brief cutaway to a wider view of the scene, and none of the weird effects or the portal itself were visible - just Cole standing with his arms in the air.
It was heartbreaking to have to watch Bobby watch Shelly kiss another guy. Also, she was obviously head over heels for the guy. I wonder how long it's been over between her and Bobby since she didn't seem too concerned about Bobby and Becky seeing them together.
Also kind of ironic given that she's talking about her daughter being with the wrong guy at the Roadhouse near the end of Episode 2 - isn't "Red" the dealer who did the coin trick with Richard? Has Shelly ever had a boyfriend or husband who *wasn't* involved with drugs at some point?
