Re: "Do your palms ever itch?" All things Audrey
That confirms some of my suspicions I researched about the situation. Supposedly Kyle actually threatened to walk if the relationship happened. Then what would the writers do? I know LFB supposedly told him to tell the writers this, but he still shouldn't have. Don't lurk. Tell us what was said by t...

Re: TP 10 Yrs Too Late
Your right, if Lynch had that type of authority with no boundaries for a 12 episode season it would have been better. I'm sure the tone would have been much darker though. Sort of like FWWM.

Re: Lynch really busy with Wild At Heart?
Noiseless fan - yes: see shooting script of last episode (written by Frost) vs filmed final episode (directed by Lynch). If Lynch would've removed foolish scenes like Nadine hurling grown men 30 ft in the air, I'm with you 100%! Wasn't just embarrassing watching scenes like that, wtf were they thin...

I think there should have been some better side plots with mysteries. -Bookhouse Boys: Bringing people like Ed, Bikers, Hawk, and Truman into the fold and describing mysteries from old lore. I could see Hawk going to the White Lodge by taking peyote in a tee pee. -The biggest tragedy of the second s...

Re: If Lynch died?
I totally agree with you. It's quite unique how fast the show flamed out. Btw Mark Frost has stated on many occasions about working on Peaks again. He also helped some guy with the plot of season 3 so this guy could make a graphic novel, but when it was finished Lynch vetoed and said no.

Re: TP 10 Yrs Too Late
The thing is, Twin Peaks inspired that type of production value that happened in the late 90's on HBO starting with Oz in 97. So who knows, maybe shows like The Sopranos wouldn't have came out like they did? Example, the dream episode at the end of season 2 when Big P**** gets whacked. Where do you ...

Re: If Lynch died?
All of these are really good posts, especially the one of how Lynch has bad memories at the end of Twin Peaks. But my question still remains what happens to his rights if he dies?

Re: If Lynch died?
To put it simpler Frost and Lynch could go do season 3/ a movie of Twin Peaks and CBS doesn't have any power over that. If CBS tried to create a new twin peaks feature, Lynch and Frost could sue the network into bankruptcy.

Re: If Lynch died?
No, CBS has the right to the series that ran from 90-91. Lynch and Frost own all intellectual property created from the show. In order for anything Peaks to continue, it has to be approved by Lynch and Frost. If one says no, then nothing happens. Mind you Lynch and Frost had good lawyers because mos...

If Lynch died?
I'm not saying I would want him to die, but let's say he did. What would happen to his Twin Peaks rights? Would Mark Frost have complete ownership, and be able to do any Twin Peaks continuation he wants?
