Recently finished J.G. Ballard's The Atrocity Exhibition and I highly recommend it. Possibly one of the most disturbing things I've ever read and the prose has all the cold precision of a surgeon. A strange, often difficult read but extremely interesting (The chapter, "Why I Want to Fuck Ronald...

I'm not a big fan of Lynch's animated work but this is definitely the best I've seen of it. I can't help thinking how much better it would have been if it were to be - somehow - shot live-action though. I must add that Moby tracks sounds amazing also despite not liking too much of his previous work.
