Re: David Lynch.com Twin Peaks Music Official Thread

See, this is why I personally prefer music from FWWM. Lovely as these themes are (especially Solo Rhodes), music from the series we got so far is mostly variations on the same old themes, while music from FWWM is entirely new and unexplored. That's why I always get more excited with FWWM music on TP...

Re: David Lynch.com Twin Peaks Music Official Thread

What other FWWM music has not been released (besides the tracks in the Montage)? Well there's the "RR Swing." Also, the guitar licks that are played when James visits Laura in front of her home but who knows -- that may not even be a full piece of music, maybe just some bits that were add...

Re: David Lynch.com Twin Peaks Music Official Thread

I really want a full version of the track I have always called 'Laura Palmer's Ghost'; the version of LP's theme played in ep 1 during the slowed down picnic video...anyone else a fan? Yes, definitely. Very haunting. I basically want every single possible variation of "Twin Peaks Theme," ...

Re: David Lynch.com Twin Peaks Music Official Thread

Girl Talk - From the montage on the FWWM soundtrack. It'd be great to hear a full version Birds In Hell - Again, from the montage, though this one sounds even better than Girl Talk. Fingers crossed. Laura Palmer's Theme - The version from the montage, which I think is the same one that was once on ...

Re: David Lynch.com Twin Peaks Music Official Thread

Couldn't agree more! Just one question for you guys: is any of these three the M.T. Wentz Theme? Yes! The 5-1/2 minute Solo for Rhodes version of the TP Theme that you get in the "Nostalgia Version" bundle is the version played during the MT Wentz sequence. That's what I thought! Awesomee...

Re: David Lynch.com Twin Peaks Music Official Thread

David's musical collaborator/colleague Dean is the man we have to thank for a lot of this stuff. The pace of releases and the schedule are deliberate-- it will require patience from us, but it's meant to be something which grows and is ongoing. It would be easy to dump everything out all at once I ...

Same here! I already bought and will buy every single track. And, if I can support Mr. Lynch in the process, all the more reason to do it!

Re: Deer Meadow Shuffle now available at Davidlynch.com!

My holy grail is all of the unreleased FWWM tracks: 1) Teresa Banks/Fat Trout Trailer Park (which I think is also the same music, in bits and pieces, when Laura and Leland are in front of Mo's Motor) 2) RR Swing 3) Goodnight Princess (Laura Palmer's Theme Piano Version) 4) A short theme when James c...

Re: Best Way to watch fwwm and Twin Peaks?

As a huge fan of FWWM, I felt the need to come out in its defense. I would ask those who are bothered by inconsistencies between the pilot and FWWM: how come you are not bothered by the many inconsistencies between the pilot and rest of the series? To name a few examples: the fact that California an...
