Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this? Wisteria/Unrecorded Night? Something else? (Speculation thread.)
While everyone’s throwing out wild conspiracies, I’ll suggest this (equally implausible) bummer scenario: there is a plan to premiere a Lynch project that he does not consider complete but has somehow against his better instincts allowed to get away from him; due to NDAs he can’t discuss it except t...

That podcast was never good, whether they liked the show or not.
The lodgers have overtaken Diane for me as the best. Funny, insightful folks who know their shit when it comes to film.

Re: How might the final 6 hours play out?
Well, by those ridiculously specific criteria, it's already only a half-dud I wouldn't hold your breath for Earle, though. I suspect if they were going to mention him it would have been in the last episode with the blue rose backstory.

Re: ROLLING POLL! Your ongoing reaction to the first half of The Return, parts 1-9 (SPOILERS)
I haven't felt much need to join in the episode discussion (I'm sure there's good stuff there but there's so much!) but I was hooked from the start and I've been loving every minute. It feels very catered to my tastes, more than I had any right to expect. I have to say the response has been really h...

Re: Product Placement in 2017 Twin Peaks (Spoilers)
I don't think anyone's seriously suggesting product placement anymore fwiw as that was pretty thoroughly discounted early on in the thread. People are just noting instances of branded products being used prominently.

Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)
I meant "Lynch's continuing bitterness at abc as a primary motivator for any part of s3", something there is no evidence for (textual or otherwise); I trusted you to complete the thought, sorry. I dont think lynch is trying to change factual history, unlike the poster making things up abo...

Re: Halftime Poll: Favorite Part So Far
8 without much hesitation, but I could make a case for any. In fact, I'm not really one for ranking things but when this is done I might do a ranking of all episodes old and new, and I suspect very few parts of the return will end up below eps 14 & 29.

Re: RE: Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)
All I'm saying is... Lynch pulled out half way through this production, and was evidently going through some inner turmoil as evidenced by the emotional confusion in the narrative. Emotionally this thing is all over the shop It's worth noting that Frost penned Secret history AFTER filming this. So ...

Re: RE: Re: Twin Peaks Return: The Profoundly Disappointed Support Group (SPOILERS)
Saw some shots from Frost on set with Lynch obviously during filming of last episode, Frost said he was only on set that day they were filming his father. Does anyone else get the feeling that Lynch just went on this self righteous art trip when no one else was around, and no one saw the final thin...

It's weird, I posted in this thread about how silly I thought the Reddit theory about wally was but I guess it got deleted?! Pretty baffling, it was an innocuous comment.

Re: Tamara Preston - Chrysta Bell (Spoilers)
You know who else has a constant schticky persona both when acting and in interviews is that David Lynch guy I'm reserving judgement for the moment - I agree Gabriel's comparison to Chris Isaak is a good one. A lot of the performances I initially disliked in the original series I ended up coming aro...
