Re: Part 15 - There's some fear in letting go (SPOILERS)
I just knew when that scene started that Audrey was not gonna get out the door. So what "family" was Norma talking about? I thought for a second she was going to mention having a sister. Did she just mean the "family" of her diner employees and customers? she had already made th...

Re: Part 12 - Let's rock (SPOILERS)
I *loved* that scene with Cole and the French girl, and the stuff with Ben Horne. The Audrey stuff was great in its way, but also kind of sad in an uncomfortable way.

Re: Part 12 - Let's rock (SPOILERS)
feels like.... i wonder if Lynch decided to have Audrey marry a dwarf as a sort of punishment for being difficult? or perhaps her resistance to joining the show this season had something to do with that element of the plot. also... no Cooper at all right?

Re: Part 8 - Gotta light? (SPOILERS)
The Giant is the caretaker. He sent Laura to earth because she is the key. The bomb opened a path between our world and their world. The convenience store is where they meet, the site of the explosion. It's where BOB was born. That's what I took from it anyway. i think this is more or less what we ...

i am soooooooooooo happy that Lynch was given free reign and however much money he requested for this show.
anyone else struck by how Guy Maddin-esque some of this season has been? this episode most obviously. happy to see the Giant again : )

Re: Parts 3 + 4 (Spoilers)
i feel like this season probably would 'work' a lot better for me if it had been condensed a bit? at least thus far. the 'dougie' scenes have really grated on me in a way nothing else Lynch has ever does has. i need to process all of this considerably more, though.

Re: 'The Secret History of Twin Peaks' novel by M. Frost 10/18
i placed my order from amazon US on thursday and it arrived today. also dinged, unfortunately. not sure why they didn't think to 'wrap it in plastic' prior to shipping, which is something a lot of comparable books i've ordered through amazon have done -- art books, etc, because of their status as co...
