Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?
Frost was interviewed last night by the Midnight in the Desert radio show. When asked whether there was more Peaks coming, he said they don’t tip their hand about the show and won’t do it here, but we have to wait and see what happens and what the passage of time brings. He did stammer a bit when re...

Re: 'Twin Peaks: The Final Dossier' Novel by Mark Frost 10/31 (SPOILERS)
He is giving us some great answers: 1) It's definitely "Jow-day", not "Joudy" from the book. 2) The discrepancy in Annie birth date / journey to Twin Peaks is chalked up to Tammy's inconsistent detective work (hah :P) 3) MADDIE DID NOT DIE in the new timeline. 4) Leo and Jacques ...

Re: NON SPOILERS: Twin Peaks: Season 3 on Showtime Thread
Big new article from Indiewire featuring a new statement sent from Showtime about the ratings for Twin Peaks: The Return. http://www.indiewire.com/2017/07/twin-peaks-ratings-2017-season-4-game-of-thrones-1201853930/ "In a statement released to IndieWire, Showtime states “Twin Peaks” is averagin...

Re: Part 9 - This is the chair (SPOILERS)
Wasn't there a rumor in the pipeline that Cooper is supposed to awaken in episode 13? Take everything with a grain of salt I know, but with how things have been moving and the next episode title in mind I have a feeling it might happen then if not sooner. That's a very specific rumor. Wonder where ...

Re: Part 9 - This is the chair (SPOILERS)
I think this episode was a great palate-cleanser after Episode 8, and did the work necessary to start up the narrative engine for the second half. Loved the scenes with Betty and Bobby Briggs in particular. Incidentally, I posted on another thread that this episode got the highest live ratings since...

Episode 9 was the highest-rated episode since the premiere, with a 0.16 and 355,000 live viewers. Looks like Episode 8 built up anticipation for 9:

Those are fantastic lists! So happy to see it is appreciated by more people internationally, and up against all those great shows.

Re: NON SPOILERS: Twin Peaks: Season 3 on Showtime Thread
I would say that Twin Peaks has about 275,000 live viewers, and at least 500,000 streamers, all in the US. But you also have to remember that the show has a huge international following. Not sure how many you would add to the total but I wonder if it's about 3 million worldwide watching every week. ...

Re: Part 7 - There's a body all right (SPOILERS)
My God, what an episode. Plot movement, so many scenes in Twin Peaks, all the feels with the Diane scenes. This one brought it home for me unlike some of the past few.

Re: Season 4? Or is it over after this?
Looks like the ratings ticked up ever so slightly on Sunday, a 0.10 and 270,000 live viewers, up from 254,000 the week before: http://www.showbuzzdaily.com/articles/showbuzzdailys-top-150-sunday-cable-originals-network-finals-6-11-2017.html By way of comparison, American Gods (which was renewed by S...

Re: S3: Make Your Peace Now with the Ending You Dread (SPOILERS)
I'd love them to do more but I'm greatly interested in whether Showtime is happy with the economics. The U.S. live ratings for the new season are not kind and are actually somewhat bad compared to stuff like American Gods, Fargo, Better Call Saul, and The Leftovers, but factoring in streaming and in...

Re: NON SPOILERS: Twin Peaks: Season 3 on Showtime Thread
Latest episode got a 0.1 rating with 254,000 total viewers for the first live showing http://www.showbuzzdaily.com/articles/showbuzzdailys-top-150-sunday-cable-originals-network-finals-6-4-2017.html Still not looking good but this obviously doesn't factor in streaming which probably is 60% or more o...

Re: Part 5 (SPOILERS)
Totally mistook the Johnny Jewel "Windswept" song over the credits as a new Angelo Badalamenti composition. It was really well-done and the perfect undertone to that scene with DroolCoop. Found it on iTunes and downloaded it right away!

Re: Part 5 (SPOILERS)
Sooo, prediction time. How many more parts before Cooper rediscovers he true self. My bet is halfway through, around part 8. I agree with this assessment. Every Showtime promo shows Ccoper driving somewhere, presumably to Twin Peaks, and he certainly could not do that in his present state. And part...
