It's really great, Ross! Well done! But imho Grady Tate's name should be shown for percussion track, not Badalamenti though.
I'm not X-files fan but... damn, the truth is really out there!
Re: Unreleased Twin Peaks Music Announcements - Official Thr
Thanks! And yeah- I was wondering about that myself. I wish they were more clear about this on the releases instead of labeling all tracks as "Angelo Badalamenti & David Lynch".DEniZZrus wrote:It's really great, Ross! Well done! I think they just don't pay attention to this (speaking frankly do hackwork a bit ) releasing ALL tracks labeled as written by LYNCH&BADALAMENTI (DEER MEADOW SHUFFLE, RR SWING and so on).

Agreed. Releasing all tracks as Badalamenti & Lynch regardless of who is actually responsible doesn't make much sense.DEniZZrus wrote:I think they just don't pay attention to this (speaking frankly do hackwork a bit ) releasing ALL tracks labeled as written by LYNCH&BADALAMENTI (DEER MEADOW SHUFFLE, RR SWING and so on).

DEniZZrus & Qbin - Great job on identifying these tracks, guys! They are pretty hard to differentiate, especially when mixed with other elements. Thanks again.

Hi Qbin! I really like to discuss all these subtleties, especially with you!
And I don't agree with something...
I'm sure, for the life of me, there is NO PS #2 in ep.19 beginning. It's unreleased PS #4, same as in the "Albert-Lucy" scene. It's quite easy to identify by the characteristic fast-tempo cymbals part!
Look, PS #2 have distinct ternary measure (waltz beat which proved by the GRADY'S WALTZ subtitle). But PS #4's cymbals rhythm doesn't fit to such measure, it's more likely 2/2 or 4/4.
So, as for Ep.19 beginning scene in my firm opinion:
00:00-00:52 - PERCUSSION SOLO #4
00:53-01:21 - PERCUSSION SOLO #4 + AUDREY'S DANCE (only clarinets)
01:22-03:03 - AUDREY'S DANCE (clarinets & percussion)
And I don't agree with something...

Come on, it's just a couple of cymbals strokes, it's hardly should be identify as whole percussion solo track.PERCUSSION SOLO HI-HATS (unreleased)

I agree with #4 instead of #2, but I think that it's only "clarinets & percussion" mixed with it (I don't think that no special "clarinets only" version was used). ItDEniZZrus wrote:Hi Qbin! I really like to discuss all these subtleties, especially with you!

Well maybe but I don't think I hear there any mix of percussion (I mean Audrey's dance percussion and solo #4 percussion). But it really hard to say for sure.
