I'm all in for Richard being Audrey's daughter but not sure I agree with the DoppleCoop is the father theory at all.

I had a terrible idea come to me in my sleep last night. Could "Richard Horne" be a mistake in the credits? A combination of "Richard Beymer - Ben Horne"? Probably not, but just a thought. I wonder if they named him in honor of Richard Beymer.

Maybe Sylvia made Ben adopt a child after the whole Donna/Hayward family stuff he was involved in at the end of season 2. He might have been a troubled child like Little Nicky!

Does anyone know how old the actor Eamon Farren is? IMDB doesn't list his age. It seems that he starred in one of Jennifer Lynch's movies.

yes he plays one of the main roles in "Chained" which is a flick that really got under my skin.. i heard Jen Lynch give very high praise for his acting in an interview (and i have to agree) so i'm pretty sure that's one of the main reasons he was casted in the role.

Farren is 32. Seyfried is 31. Sheryl Lee, James Marshall and Dana Ashbrook were 25 in FWWM.

Well, my theory is not clear in my head! The two Truman brothers make me also think about relatives, and Harry health issues about heritage - as Margaret Lanterman, too. And the next episode is called "Don't Die"...

I'm disappointed that no one is putting forth "Richard 'Dick' Tremayne is the father of Richard Horne" theories.

I certainly don't want this to be the outcome, but I do miss Ian Buchanan in the new season. Although he and Audrey would be just about the worst and most mismatched couple possible in Twin Peaks, it would give Dick an excuse to make a surprise appearance.

I think it's supposed to be her son, even tho he looks a tad old, but I seriously doubt it's BadCoop's hatechild.

I think if he is Audrey's, then J J Wheeler is the likely father. Lots of actors in their late 20s/early 30s have played younger roles (B H 90210 for example). Richard would then be slightly younger than Wally, but not necessarily out of age range for the actor who plays him.
