Season 4? Or is it over after this? Wisteria/Unrecorded Night? Something else? (Speculation thread.)

I get the feeling that something really is happening now, and both Sabrina and Lynch don’t know how to handle that they’re actually pulling it off in secret. It’s not as much fun getting away with something when nobody knows about it.

I've been watching this british anthology series from the 70's called Thriller on the shout factory site. There's a private detective who appears in two episodes.
It's been ages since I saw Kieslowski's Decalogue. That had an interesting anthology approach with a united theme. Can't remember if any of the characters ever overlapped or not in it.

There was a very peculiar returning character in Dekalog, yes.
"Appeared" in all but one or two entries, if I remember correctly.

That is overlap in Dekalog, of the subtle kind. As Histeria points out, one character, a bystander really, appears in the background of most parts. Other characters are glimpsed here and there, establishing a sort of timeline. All very loose but it certainly connects the parts.

I've been meaning to watch Dekalog and Von Trier's The Kingdom for years now. I know The Kingdom has a season 3 revival coming (sounds familiar...) so maybe I'll hold off until the build-up to that before watching.

I liked how the bell hop was curiously the same age in all three segments of Hotel Room, set decades apart. Always felt like that mighta been an influence on the Tim Roth character in Four Rooms, which was only made a year or two later.

That’s the dumbest tweet I’ve ever seen. For an organization with “Hollywood” in the name, they don’t seem to know much about how Hollywood operates.DougieJones wrote: ↑Mon Jun 21, 2021 1:37 am https://twitter.com/horrormuseum/status ... 89280?s=21

Yeah I get what their intended meaning is (and that the operative function in the tweet is served by what they wrote regardless of its accuracy) but that's a horrific way to express it. Slight second-hand embarrassment reading that.
Btw, via the Tibetan method of inductive reasoning (ehem assuming the whether report mid-sections and insta stuff as causal, considering tidbits very kindly posted on here, and stalking follower lists like a true monk), I come to the reasoned (completely bonkers) conclusion that the actors playing the following characters are going to be in this project (assuming it exists for the purpose of this post):
- John Wheeler
- Donna
- Harry
- Tremayne (maybe)
- Josie (maybe)
- Annie
- Chet
- The Arm (even less sure about this one)
Generously assuming that's all 100% accurate (in the absence of anything else of note to discuss) where does that leave the series in terms of plot/narrative?

More Twin Peaks posting from Sabrina and David Lynch Theatre on Instagram.

Going by Sabrina’s last 2 Reddit posts, Wisteria will be heavily inspired by Chinese “Danmei” fiction.
