Don't you think they coud put all old, sold-out WIPP issues in pdf versions to download. Many people never had a chance to read it.

Who knows? Go to the blog and ask him. Also, if anyone wants to see a specific article reprinted, I'm sure it wouldn't hurt to ask. I would think the FWWM article 'Dreams From Dear Meadow' from issue 60 would be a fantastic choice.

I always cringe when I hear people say it took place in 1989 -even if the calendar dates correspond to that year. And yeah, yeah the Jen Lynch diary is 1990. To me, just leave the year out of it, and it takes place in its own world.

Well, I have the 1989 European Twin Peaks video and the characters, music and everything else are all in place. So, for me, this is the 20th anniversary of the beginning of Twin Peaks. Filming actually began in February 1989. Tell me, if the origins of Twin Peaks did not belong in the maligned and scapegoated 1980s, would people be more willing to celebrate the anniversary? I noticed on Wikipedia too that the 1989 filming of the pilot/movie simply is not mentioned. And IMDB lists the pilot as being 1990.

It all seems a bit odd to me.

because all films are listed by the year they come out, not produced.

Many sit on a shelf for years or take time in preproduction. But we know that.

I was just saying based on the nature and style of the show, I hate ANY year attached to it in the world of the story. I like it ambiguous anywhere/any small town USA.

I have no problem celebrating that in reality Peaks began twenty years ago.
