Neat! Just outside Black Hills National Forest, near a place called Jolly Dump, apparently.

I didn't realize how close this stuff all is to Deadwood.

You're probably right. It's not like Lynch is in love with the Pilot and FWWM or anything. The red shoes are clearly Diane, and the red drapes.

I'll just bask in that small moment (it's been nine hours.... And twenty six years.... I have to take my crumbs where I can.)
God, I love this music. Isn't it too dreamy?

I happened to think of Audrey, but I also think it could have just been Dougie watching a pretty woman in a skirt and heels walk by and leading his gaze to the electrical outlet.

Forgot to add - I really like how it's developing the Bobby/Garland connection. Very moving.

I hope we see Audrey soon. And Laura again.

Is the hum Josie or not? Hmmmm.

Not much else to add. A good episode, a little slow, but moving things forward and connecting back.

Who else thinks Janey-E is going to go to Twin Peaks with Dougie/Cooper?
I have no idea where this will lead us, but I have a definite feeling it will be a place both wonderful and strange.

Oh and we saw the Packard Sawmill outside the Sheriff's Station! That was cool.

The website is just a commercial for the soundtrack. Sort of cool, I guess?

I posted this on reddit too re the coordinates

So weird. I grew up in Spearfish and had always kind of expected the show was set nearby, but not right across the highway!

In fact there was already something buried on Lookout Mountain:

http://mentalfloss.com/article/76827/my ... hoen-stone

the thoen stone is the last message of some white settlers who supposedly found gold in the Black Hills in the early 1800s, well before its "actual" discovery in the 1880s. None of the party survived being justifiably imho removed by the local native peoples

TP is trending again on Twitter! (First time since Part 8 - and possibly the premiere.) This must be due to the fact that it trended for the last episode.

On the old show, wouldn't they always show the Sheriff's trucks go speeding off to the right side of the screen in front of the station? Well, in this episode we can see that they wouldn't have gotten very far going that direction. I guess we are supposed to assume that they turn to the left to go around the back of the station?

Can we all say a big "A-MEEEEEN!" to the classic music coming back? <3. And that new Badalamenti piece was beautiful too

Yea, we see Audrey slip into her saucy red heels at her locker, but that's it.
I'd say the American flag/ red heels combo triggers his memory of the "Philadelphia offices."

And for the record, what I got from the text DopCoop sent was "I'm creeping you out", like a warning...

I think it's largely just intended as a teaser for the soundtrack CDs, which are linked to on the "DONATE" button.

Nerdy aside: I love the 1997 website, but wish they'd done it with purely era-appropriate technology. Boo, jquery. :)
